Morris Antebi, MD, FASAM
After obtaining my MD degree from Aleppo University in Syria, Dr. Antebi immigrated to the US in 1979. In 1983, he completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Immediately after, he was the Chairman of Anesthesia at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO, from 1984 to 1989; subsequently, the Chairman of Anesthesia at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ.
In 1992, he started a full-time pain management practice in NJ. In 2005, after becoming Board-Certified in Addiction Medicine, he started an addiction department as an offshoot of pain medicine. The group consists of another physician and three NPs. His practice philosophy is that addiction is a chronic medical problem that has implications for the patient's family, the labor market, and society as a whole. The practice is designated OBAT in the State of NJ.
